I took Austin to the Dr. yesterday for the first time (besides getting his shots) because he's been a bit under the weather since he had that cold about 2 weeks ago. Just not himself. He's had a lingering cough, that is in his chest and a temperature the past 3 nights (but it goes away during the day). I decided to take him to the doctor today to get it checked out, better safe than sorry.
As soon as I picked him up from Belinda's, I noticed that he had a rash on his neck and head too. Then, as we were in the waiting room he kept tugging at his ear. Of course, he didn't cough at all when we were in with Dr. K, but she confirmed that he has Roseola which is some kind of viral infection that babies get sometimes- symptoms are rash and fever, and sure enough, he had an ear infection too! Good thing I took him in, I would have hated to wait the weekend.
