"BLUE!! BLUE!! BLUE!! BLUE!!"
Have I mentioned how much we love Belinda? Well, we do. :) She takes time with each of the kids each day to go over colors, numbers and ABCs. Apparently, Austin waits patiently in line to do this with her (really!? how does she make him do that??!? She's GOOD! ha!). He is very interested in learning! Well, she saw him over at the wall the other day pointing to all the numbers, colors, etc and saying "Blue" over and over. So cute! What a little smarty paints!

The fascinating brain of a 16 month old
I am amazed by what a little sponge Austin's brain is- they just pick things up so quickly at this age. It's just fascinating to watch him grow and learn new things.
Here are a couple of new things Austin is doing lately:
- He can identify nearly ALL of his body parts- hair, eyes, ears, nose, mouth, teeth, hands, fingers, legs, feet, toes, belly button and of course, his wiener! I'm so impressed with this! I need to get a video.
- When looking for something or asking a question, Austin puts his hands up in the air to signify inquisitively, "where it is?". It's so cute.
- He blows kisses and waves all of the time.
- He always claps at the end of a song and knows the hand motions to itsy-bitsy spider. He also moves his mouth when I sing ABCs.
- Just this past 2 weeks, his vocabulary seems to have had a growth spurt. He is now saying a lot of Mama and Dadas. He also says: milk, blueberry, duck, kitty, yea, no, hot, meow
- It's adorable when he "talks" to the kitty. His voice gets really soft and high pitched and he gets really close to her and says a lot of what sound like "meows". freakin' adorable.
Anyway, just thought I'd update with some fun things... he is growing up so fast!!!
