Here are a couple of instances where he has amazed me in the past couple of weeks:
He loves my keys and the other day he was playing with them and then went over to the door and put them up to the knob! Okay... smarty pants!!
Austin also loves to get clean diapers out of his diaper bin and Ryan caught him walking over to the diaper genie to try to put them in there!
Austin also loves his wipes and I always catch him trying to get into them. I was doing laundry this past week and found about 10 wipes in his laundry basket! ha! I'm not sure why he put them in there, but obviously, he thinks that's where they go!
Next, I got my debit card out to pay for something the other day and he wanted to put it back into my wallet! ha!
Austin also likes to play with my brushes in the morning as I get ready and I saw him trying to brush his hair the other day!
Lastly, we were sitting around this evening and my brother came into the room with a hat on. He took it off and put it next to him and Austin came up a few minutes later and tried to put seth's hat on his head!
Anyways, these are such minuscule things we do in our every day life and it just facinates me to start "getting" the world around him and start to do the things that come so normally to the rest of us. Really, TRULY amazing.
Alright- we're in CO this weekend for Lisa's shower, my grandfather's birthday and Austin's birthday. I've been able to see friends, family and just relax. We are having Austin's cowboy birthday party tomorrow- I'm very excited. I'll be sure to post pics soon!
