I have a ton of photos that I downloaded though and just need to post them- I promise I will do that today. :)
As for some fun Austin updates- here you go!
Austin is officially WALKING. Like, for reals. No more of this walk 3-5 steps and fall down. Nope! He walks across the room (albeit a bit wobbly- but he makes it!). We like to call him Frankenstein because he walks pretty unsteadily with his arms in the air. Too funny!
We are trying lots of new foods including chicken nuggets, meat balls, fish sticks and yesterday he had gyro meat and falafel- yum!
Austin is talking up a storm!!! We can make out a few words now and that's exciting. He says mama, dada, ball ('ba'), bottle ('da-dul'), duck ('du'), and kitty ('ti-ti').
We have been working on identifying 'nose', eyes', 'mouth', 'ears', 'teeth' etc for a few months now and I think he'll have those down soon. He touched my eyes and my nose today as we were doing it this morning and when I show him where his mouth is, I pat it like a little Indian would and he makes the 'ahhh' sound. When I say, "where are your teeth?" he smiles wide so I can tap on them... he's gettin' it and hopefully will have it down before his first birthday!
Speaking of first birthdays... is that really next month?!? wow. We are headed out to CO on the weekend of the 8th for Lisa's baby shower (can't wait!) and we're going to be throwing his CO birthday party on the 9th. Then we'll be throwing his CA birthday party later in the month up at Mark and Shelly's.
That's it for now- I have a lot of great photos which I will upload shortly. We took the day off yesterday and went to a baby yoga/tumbling class with a couple of mommies from the mommy group I joined- super cute photos.
