I really don't know where this year has gone. Austin is 11 months old today. It seems like just yesterday I was pregnant and then meeting him for the first time.
It's so true that you cannot understand the ability to love something more and more with each passing day until you are a mother. This is exactly how I feel. Austin is beyond incredible and has brought so much joy to our lives.
What's new with our lil' man???
Austin has decided he is a walker. No more crawling for this little guy!
He has also decided that he wants to take after his uncle Seth and try to be in the WWF when he grows up. Maybe I should start calling him Stone Cold Steve Austin! Belinda says that he is constantly "wrestling" with the big boys- she's never seen anything like it! ha!
Austin is talking up a storm, but we're not sure what he's saying! he just babbles and babbles and babbles... man. Kinda like his mommy. Belinda also said that he has been quite the talker at daycare too!
He has also learned that he can make other people laugh too and then he does it over and over to make you laugh again and again
. Little man has quite a sense of humor!
He has learned to go "feet first" off the bed and couch. This makes me happy because I have been a nervous wreck that he's going to fall... which still may happen, but at least he knows how to get down when he needs to.
Like any boy, he's beginning to love his little penis more and more every day. This post will embarrass him when he's older.
And best of all, he is such a little snuggler. I LOVE this about him. He's active and playful and smart and funny, but also loves to just curl up and let me kiss him. Sweet boy... :)
I'm beyond excited that Austin is able to have 2 birthday parties!! We are headed out to CO in a couple of weeks and will be celebrating my dear friend Lisa's baby shower (another little boy for our group!) and the next day we will be having a Cowboy Ho-Down featuring Austin "the Kid" Hoherd. A few weeks later we will be celebrating his birthday out here at Mark and Shelly's and the theme I've picked is Mr. ONE-derful. How cute is that?
Oh Austin... you're such a BIG boy! I can't beleive that you're technically a toddler now! This makes me sad but you'll always be my baby. We love you more than anything in this entire world.
