Are you REALLY 10 months old??!? I simply cannot believe it. You are an absolute joy. The world's best baby. You make mommy laugh all of the time and have really developed a sense of humor. I think you're going to be a funny little guy :)
You started walking this month and now you just want to go-go-go!! It's so strange to turn around sometimes and see you standing there looking at me with that big ol' grin! It just melts my heart every time I look at those big brown eyes.
You are starting to finally get hair- BLONDE hair!!! Taking after mommy (or should I say, the color I used to have!). You have started to notice your hair too and like to pull on it.
We play lots of fun games and I'm trying to have you learn your nose, eyes, ears, mouth, etc. When I put my hand over your mouth to show you where it is, you have figured out that if you make a sound and I pat your mouth, it sounds pretty cool. We love to sing together too and you definitely forgive me for not being a good singer. You love patty cake, 3 little monkeys jumping on the bed, itsy-bitsy spider and you are my sunshine.
You know words now too and it won't be long until you start talking! I can tell you recognize words like kitty, ducky, bottle, ball, bath, mommy, daddy, no, cookie, all done and of course your name.
You started clapping and pointing at things... too cute for words.
Belinda is now watching a little 3 month old at daycare, so you're no longer the little guy! You're part of the 'Big Boy' crowd and everyone loves you there. Apparently you are quite the clown there too.
Mommy joined a 'mommy and me' group, so you're making fast friends there too. You're one popular little kid!
You have started to kind of like books, so we try to read one a night.
Lastly, you have just really started to cuddle. You're attention span is not long, so the cuddling is pretty brief in most cases, but you give THE BEST hugs. The other night we cuddled before your bedtime for about 10 minutes and it was one of the sweetest moments of my life. You then fell asleep on my shoulder and I didn't put you in your crib for another 10 minutes because I just wanted to enjoy the moment.
Oh Austin... you are such a big boy. Where did these last 10 months go?!? Mommy and Daddy think the world of you and, I really don't know how it's possible, but we love you more with each passing day!
