We went out to CO for my birthday and mother's day and it was so nice to get back home and visit with my parents and grandparents. The weather had been great the week before we got there, and of course right when we left.... but it rained almost the whole time we were there- bummer! We were going to go to the Zoo, but instead opted for the Children's Museum which was a lot of fun. My dad also took Ryan and I up to the property where my parents' cabin is in the final stages of being built! It was great to get up there... I miss it. We are VERY excited that this will be a place that Austin will enjoy in the years to come. We also got to get out and see my girlfriend Lisa, her husband Joe and their little guy Joey. He's 5 months old and an absolute DOLL! Lastly, I got to spend my birthday with my nana. It's very special because we share a birthday and it just so happen to fall on Mother's Day this year, so it was even more special to spend that with my mom and nana.
We forgot our nice camera, so these are just pics from our phone. Next time we'll remember the camera!
Austin licking the rain off of Nana's cushions
Dad and I on the deck of the cabin
Inside stairs of the cabin
The hog in the road... Ryan couldn't believe it (although, it was pretty massive!)
Austin painting Nana a Bronco-themed picture at the children's museum
Bubbles with Nana!
Bubbles with Gramp and Daddy!
Austin had so much fun and didn't want to let his Gramp go at the airport
Thanks mom and dad for a great time- we'll see you soon!
