Week 22 All Together Now...

It's been quite a week! I was able to make it home to CO for a long weekend and see family and friends. I wish I could've stayed longer and I wish that Ryan could have come with me. It's always great to get home and I love this time of year when it's so hot you melt during the day and then you end the afternoon with a nice thunderstorm and a rainbow.

It was so great seeing my family, as always, and I got to show off the bump. Two of my six cousins were in CO from England and I had not seen them in about 15 years, so figured if they were on the continent, I should make a trip over the Rocky Mountains to say 'hello'.

On Friday I was able to have some serious friend time. I met Kairee, Lisa, Lisa's husband Joe and Quinn for lunch and annoyed the boys with lots of prego talk between Kairee and myself. When the boys left, Lisee and Kairee and I stayed there for another half hour catching up, it's always so great to see them, but so sad too. Wish we lived closer. I then stopped by my friend Kathleen's office and chit-chatted with her for about an hour and a half. It was just nice to catch up with an old friend.

I'll have more photos of the fam later, of course, I forgot my brand new camera... so I'm waiting on my mom to send them over!

Lastly, Ryan started a new job today and we are ESTATIC! It's a terrific opportunity with USBank in downtown L.A. He'll be working side-byside with a bunch of highend execs, so this will allow him a ton of exposure. It's quite a communte in, but luckily he'll get to ride the Metro from LBC to downtown, so he'll avoid traffic. Speaking of avoiding traffic, he's got to be in the office at 6am. Hello early mornings!!! He'll avoid rush hour on the way home too, so it's fine. We're really, really excited and can't wait to see what this position holds!

Total Weight Gained/Loss? - Finding out at tomorrow's Doctor's appointment... we'll see!
Sleep? - Crazy dreams this week. I'm not sure if it's weird pregnancy dreams or traveling...
Best Moment of the Week? - Seeing my family!!! Also, seeing my friends and getting to have lots of prego-talk with Kairee.
Food aversions- CHICKEN, BEEF
Food cravings- PBJ, peppercinis, Honey Smacks, cheese, jalapeno/cheese bagel with jalapeno cream cheese, a tortilla with cream cheese and peppercinis, starbucks' old fashioned donuts, fruity pebbles, peaches and plums, street meat from the HB street fair, chocolate milk (with nesquik), In N Out.. nothing new this week.
Gender- unknown to us!
Labor Signs- Nope!
Belly Button- It's flat. And weird.
What I miss- Wine. Hot Yoga. Sleeping on my back. Oysters on the half shell, Dancing (kairee confirmed what I had previously thought- pregnant women should definitely NOT hit the dance floor), being able to wear my wedding ring, Soft cheeses, not walking with a slight waddle.
What I'm looking forward to- Tomorrow's doctor's appointment
