I had a doctor's appointment earlier in the week and everything continues to look great.
I really like my OB and have heard great things about her in the delivery room. I started seeing her when I first moved out here and then referred her to 2 of my girlfriends when they were pregnant and they've told me nothing but great things. She's very soft spoken, but apparently really takes charge when it's "go time". She's also overly-cautious (no complaints about that right now) and has me on bi-monthly ultrasounds to continue to measure my cervix since I have a weak one, just as a precautionary measure (everything continues to be more than fine on that as well). She delivers at Hoag and I'll have a nice private suite that overlooks the ocean- definitely not complaining about that! Every time I go there to get my ultrasound done, it feels more like a spa (these were Ryan's words!). Anyways, I really like her.
On a side note, the baby's heartbeat was 156 the other day, still indicative of a girl according to that old wives tale! I've also taken several Chinese gender chart tests found online and 9 out of 11 said girl (leaving only 2 that said boy). Laugh now, but apparently this thing is supposed to be spot on! haha! Kairee has her ultrasound on Monday to determine the sex of her little Elvis (that's what she and Kyle named the baby while in utero- love it!) and the Gender chart says it'll be a boy for her, so we'll get to test out the accuracy then... :)
I'm really looking forward to the weekend now that our move it done. It helps that it's going to be in the 80's and sunny- perfect beach weather and I am definitely going to get down there since there's only so much longer I can wear a bikini and look somewhat decent!
