8 Months!

It's been awhile...I've been super busy at work lately so just haven't had time to blog! Austin is great. I cannot believe that he is already 8 MONTHS OLD!!! Here are a couple of fun updates about life as an 8 month old:

• Austin's new favorite past time is ripping up magazines
• We are trying new foods out and he is loving it! I need to get a mat for under his high chair though
• Austin is a MOVER! he pulls himself up on everything and crawls FAST. He has even let go and was able to "stand" for a brief second or two a couple of times now. I can't believe I'm saying this, but he is going to walk sooner rather than later! yikes!
• Austin now has 6 TEETH!
• We are still battling ear infections. He's now had 6 of them. ugh. May be time for tubes.
• I've had numerous people comment on how "social" Austin is. He just loves to interact and smile at people.
• Austin is now getting a sense of humor- he'll do things and wait for a reaction and then do it again.
• Austin now "kisses" people, but they are open mouth slobbery kisses (which I can't get enough of!). He's also become a lot more affectionate and cuddly and just loves to hug :)
• When we say momma or daddy Austin will look at the correct person- so exciting!!!
• New favorite toy? Tupperware. We have a designated cabinet especially for Austin.

I am just more and more in love with this little man with every passing day. He is growing up so quickly- I can't believe it!!
