Last night we packed a picnic and went out with our friends Megan and Dan to free Donovan Frankenreiter concert in Irvine Park. It's the first time Ryan and I have been out in awhile and we really had a nice time.
We also went to Babies R Us and purchased the last of the nursery furniture needed. I was excited that the dresser that matches the our crib was $50 off, then I had a 20% coupon, a $50 gift certificate and then we received a card in the mail this week with a nice contribution from my Nana and Gramp to go towards the dresser! It would be here in about 7-10 days, but here it is:
Also, since I've signed up for a bunch of baby websites, I occasionally get free offers. Iwas excited when I received an offer last week for a free baby sling! Once I lose this baby weight, maybe I can be half as cute as this chick and her baby-friend rockin' the babysling:
All in all, a great weekend. I just wish they were 3 days long.
